Our gardens are looking fantastic!

How beautiful are our gardens looking around the school? Mr Mathews and Mr Storer have done a fantastic job landscaping and now the gardens are starting to flourish. Everyday parents, students and staff  are able to reap the benefits by having an attractive environment to study and work in, or just to wander through. Also, what a great group of students we have that have taken upon themselves to care for our school grounds. Every week Mrs Booth sees them raking, sweeping or shovelling, and they do this without being asked. What great role-models for our school community and their efforts are much appreciated 🙂

EAL Gardening

The EAL students were gardening again with Ms Scouller and also made labels from recycled plastic rubbish. It was another beautiful Spring day and perfect for planting some more vegetables, herbs and fruit.

EAL Gardening

The EAL students have been given a garden plot and were busy preparing it and planting new vegetables in time for Spring. Wonderful 4th year Practicum student, Ms Scouller, who is here from Charles Sturt University, Bathurst and specialises in outdoor education, guided the students through the activity. It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for gardening 🙂

Mr Thompson and Class 3/6T Gardening

What a beautiful sunny day today and it was perfect for Class 3/6T to get out and get dirty filling up the garden beds with new vegetables. Well done everyone and lets hope that the snails and grasshoppers stay away.
