FIRST Lego League – Robotics Competition
The CHPS Cybernetic Whales are competing in the FIRST Lego League Robotics Competition this Term and have been working very hard to get ready for the event. This years theme is Into Orbit and is based on space travel. There are three parts to the competition: Robot Games, Project Presentation and Core Values Poster. The students have been using plenty of the 7 Dispositions to push through the challenges of the competition including being flexible, patient and persistent and open minded. As a part of the Project Presentation, the team had to select a problem they saw with long term space travel and come up with a solution by either creating something new or altering or adjusting something that is already available. The Cybernetic Whales found an interest in how to generate oxygen naturally. Here is there presentation.
