Science Week in 3/6B.

Last week 3/6B decided to have some fun with science.
We had some helpers in the classroom so we had lots of fun doing some science experiments and laughing. We made a tornado in a bottle – our first one failed but we decided to have another go and the second time we didn’t add as much glitter but we added a little detergent. Now it works perfectly.
We then watched our Smarties make a rainbow – someone ate a few Smarties along the way! – and we made some slippery slime. Lastly we made sherbert – fizzy sherbert with icing sugar, citric acid, baking powder and jelly crystals.
It was a great day in the classroom with fantastic helpers.
