Our School: Mohamed, Wakjira and Miriam

Three students in Class 5M made a video response to Molly’s video as they all came from Africa and and one lived in Molly’s area. Both Wakjira and Mohamed came from Nairobi, Kenya, and Miriam from Uganda. Their lives are different in Australia from Molly’s but they could also see the similarities. I think the students did a fantastic job to make this video (on their Cisco flip camera) and our school is extremely fortunate to have them as part of our community 🙂

It was also very exciting as on Tuesday March 6th the WFP and Cisco created a global event where Molly and her friends were answering questions from another group of children who go to an International School in Rome (they have an Australian teacher) and also some questions from around the world. Class 5M were very lucky as Molly answered one of their questions. Here is a recording of the event. It goes for 30 minutes.
